Time is greater than money...
Time can take a toll on your money and it can take a toll on your health, however one can always recoup money but time not so easy.
Many will miss this, thinking $$$$ is more of an importance, but you only have so much time in your days and it goes by quick.
Once time is gone you can't get it back, the neglect of pushing through pain takes a toll.
So you can take your shots and self medications continue to lift weights and push through your pain as if its not screaming out to get your attention, notifying you something needs fixed ASAP.
Ignore it, push on, suck it up buttercup, yet realize it takes a major toll over time. Plain and simple take action before it leads to something bigger.
Yeah but your not covered under my insurance plan...
Ask your insurance company why they don't cover massage, they will try and tell you its just for relaxation.
Shows just how little they know about how powerful bodywork is.

I have heard it said multiple times you get what you pay for meaning if it costs more it must be better.
The nature of business give less and take more. The mindset of many. This leads one to think someone is always trying to overcharge and we tune in only when we see the word sale or 50% off.
This mindset leads one to assume the bigger the office the better or the largest ad is a better place to go or the higher the price the better. The more education one has they must be better. Flat out more is better...
Not always, Trust me I realize I could charge much more (Please Look Around) but I try to keep things reasonable for a broad field of folks from all walks of life.
Students and retired folks are not always loaded with money. Imagine how nice it would be if everybody had this type thinking.
No contracts!
You're not locked in to a membership plan in order to get a cheaper price. Thats all games to retain your business and lock you in to limited choices.
You are not punished by higher costs for not joining our member plan because there is no member plan you have something called FREEDOM. You can come back or choose not to, your choice.
Amazing how many people miss that or take that for granted as part of our business model.
I asked a lady why she comes to me as she has so many choices all throughout this area. She said I truly feel you care and you enjoy spending time with my issues. I don't feel that with most people I go to. They are always in a hurry.
I said yeah that is the difference from a volume business compared to someone like me. I told her about a busy chiropractic office and how there was a standing line to get in to see them for your 2 min adjustment. It runs like a factory. Unfortunately you're under the clock in this type office it's all about numbers and volume, selling contracts at a large number of visits for a discount.
Unfortunately these offices see a high volume which means MORE money for advertising and marketing which means MORE people see their info which means sometimes people think the BIGGER you are you must be good. After all I heard you on the radio and the TV and you have a BIG building so your work has to be good.
In a relationship with someone whom cares they spend TIME period. However realize someone can still spend time with you and have no skill.
I have seen through my years many who will make claims they can fix all your problems , I just went through a seminar where the guy said we heal cancer through our work. Yeah well I don't make those claims yet we have had a few success's through out the years with :
Many volume-based businesses are run with the mindset more is better. So I would question, Is the focus on numbers, dollars, volume, or the best care that can be given? One could become a number, easily lost in a system where there is so many knocking & substandard work is quite possibly the norm. But you say it can't be that bad because your health Insurance card copay is only $25.00.
People come with things that didn't happen in an hour, their problems could have been years in the making however they expect to leave with those things fixed in an hour. Expectations...
The reality sometimes this is possible and sometimes it is not.
Just remember DISCIPLINED MAINTENANCE will lead to less car problems & this works the same for the body. You cant brush your teeth a few times a month and expect they are going to be ok.
Within the world we live in many people may feel highly vulnerable to the aspect of going into a room and having a professional body worker laying hands on their naked body. Yet that same person will have no concerns and feel totally fine going to a restaurant and allowing a complete stranger they have never met to prepare a meal in which they will swallow internally into their stomach yet not feel vulnerable in any way. Always amazing how the mind ticks...
Remember You will never know what something is like until you experience it.
Your doctor may hold the ability to write you a prescription , ask them to write you one for massage.
If they say no, question why not?
Perhaps they are just willing to write you a prescription for pills.
Many things in your life can improve when your mind is in the right place, your exercise is adequate and diet is well.
If you take this up a notch get some good bodywork and stretch.
Laugh often!
Massage helps those who suffer from fatigue, aches, and many other things by:
Manually moving the fluids and exchanging blood throughout the muscles of the body. Helping them refuel and remove much of the irritants that have been hanging around inflaming the tissue. Breaking down the adhesions that build up in underused muscles while gently stretching them. This helps prepare the person to get up and move with more ease and comfort. Increasing lymphatic flow which helps move the cellular wastes out of the tissue and into the lymph nodes to be removed, also helps the body analyze and scour for bacterial or viral infections. Increased lymph flow generally means a quicker immune response. Massage has been shown to lower cortisol levels in the blood (a sign of stress) and to increase serotonin levels which make us feel relaxed and more alert. Shockingly it might even help with your attitude cause lately when you come into the store you have been a real pain in the #&!#*^.
Provided you use it and speak up.
