SO IF YOU HAVE TO DEFINE ME...
I do hands on Bodywork with the help of tools coming with a passion from the heart!
My style is a cross blending of multiple techniques with a lot of years of experiences. So no two massages are ever the same because we are all different with different issue.
So what works for one may not work for another.
Much like highly passionate and skilled martial artist, Bruce Lee. He trained in many styles and took the stuff he liked and formed it into a blend of simple effective techniques that worked best for him and the situation at hand, in his approach to JKD : Jeet Kune Do.
The real question your looking for is...
Are you worth my time and money?
Do I value you...
*
Being able to adapt and being flexible is a very powerful skill. It is imperative to LISTEN to what the client is actually asking for.
Sometimes they say they want the best of both worlds examples,
I want all my pain gone and to fall asleep here on the table. Hmmm good luck with that one.
A guy comes in says it was hard dealing with my family this morning so I took some pain pills prior to coming in today, so push so I feel something.

SO IF YOU HAVE TO DEFINE ME...
I do Bodywork with the help of tools!
*
Do I use cupping?
Possibly,
but not to pool blood to the surface
so we can leave dark circles.
*
IASTM /Gua Sha ? Once again My goal is not to scrape you to the point of redness to bring about blood to the surface. I use tools to help protect my hands and give added pressure provided I deem necessary.
*
Some of my methods have been compared to those of a skilled Physical Therapist, however
* prescriptive exercise
*electrotherapy or stim
*heat and ice
Standard protocols of a busy high volume PT office, I really don't do.
Key word HANDS ON, that defines me greatly.
*
See in my previous visits to various PT offices I have never had any more than 5-6 minutes of actual hands on work. So put that into thought if you have a swollen limb, lifting is not really getting rid of the fluid that is stagnate around the injury. A doctor may feel that is resolved through medication. Then give you visits to the PT to strengthen the area. However what is missing is the actual HANDS ON time and the healing that comes from that. However in an office that has a heavy volume of people needing to be seen how is that possible? However it usually comes back to money and are you close and do you have the time slot that works around my schedule. Sure I get it we would all love to pay a $25.00 copay.
*
Note to those whom like stretching and massage combined, it's a safe bet you will like my work cause I mix it all together with NO upgrade fees...
Please look around notice most people try to sell their modalities as separate sessions. Meaning If you would like stretching, hot rocks, & cupping in one session. They wouldn't do it. Why? Simple it always comes back to money as they are typically inclined to sell them as individual services. I always get a kick out of the franchise fees if you don't want to join right then. The next time in your going to pay roughly $50.00+ more for the session. It's literally like a punishment if you don't join.
I have worked with many older and disabled folks throughout my days. Even those whom don't speak the same language.
Many will open their program up to anyone and teach large volume classes. I like more of a focused smaller group. Im not into building a list of numbers who have taken a couple hours and think they understand the work.
